CEDAW Pre-session submission

NGO-CEDAW has just submitted a report to the UN CEDAW Committee ahead of the pre-session in March 2019. At the pre-session, the Committee will review the report of the Cambodian government and select issues and questions for the government to respond to before the main review session in October. UPR Gender Report

NGO-CEDAW coordinated a joint commission to the UN Universal Periodic review process in 2018. This information will inform the UN when it reviews Cambodia in January 2019.

Monitoring report 2017

NGO-CEDAW, with funding from Canada has printed books of the 2017 CEDAW Monitoring Report.

This printed version is also available as a pdf on this website in Khmer and English.

University Debate

NGO-CEDAW, with financing from the European Union, DanChurchAid, the British Embassy and the Canadian Embassy, will host a debate for university students during the 16 Days Campaign against gender-based violence (November 25 through December 10, 2018).

Students from different universities are learning about gender issues and CEDAW in preparation for the debate.
