NGO-CEDAW, with financing from the European Union, DanChurchAid, the British Embassy and the Canadian Embassy, will host a debate for university students during the 16 Days Campaign against gender-based violence (November 25 through December 10, 2018).
Students from different universities are learning about gender issues and CEDAW in preparation for the debate.
Over the past two days, several activists have been released from prison, including Tep Vanny and former staff of Radio Free Asia. Tep and three other land activists were pardoned by the king, and the others were released on bail.

Deadline extended to 15 August 2018!
In the previous blog posts, we noted that the deadline for applications for the art-based school project and the Dignity Project exhibition was 25 July. We have now changed this to 15 August, 2018. There is still time to apply.
NGO-CEDAW has two opportunities for artists:
1) Artists to create original art for Dignity Project 2018 exhibition.
2) Artists/ Art Educators to create and implement art-based curriculum on gender-based violence for primary and secondary school students.
