The National Assembly, which had planned to pass the draft LANGO with no changes on Friday, has moved the vote to next week.

 

Yesterday, members of the community and NGO members protested outside the National Assembly building.

Approximately 300 NGO staff, embassy representatives, government staff and National Assembly members met to learn about and discuss suggested changes to the specific terms of LANGO which violate the constitution and international law.
