On September 3rd, 2025 NGO_CEDAW successfully coordinated the 1st consultation workshop on the 2025 CEDAW Monitoring Report, where 27 CSO coalition members and relevant partner organizations/associations participated in providing comments and other important inputs on the draft report.
The 3 main activities were:
– The 2025 Annual CEDAW Monitoring Report will discuss new violations that occurred in 2024 and issues for which new evidence or research became available in 2025.
– Choose key topics to include in the 2025 Annual CEDAW Monitoring Report
– Form working groups and begin planning your input
During this workshop, all CSOs had an opportunity to share among others on the issues of violence against women, girls, GBV, and more deepening on the target group whom they are working with. NGO-CEDAW would like to express its deepest gratitude to all representatives for their solidarity and cooperation.
