NGO-CEDAW has been fighting for women and girls for over 30 years. We are Cambodia’s leading coalition dedicated to monitoring and promoting the implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW). Working with 32 active local member CSOs and a wider network of 30 partner organizations, NGO-CEDAW gives voice to otherwise underrepresented groups of women, girls, and LGBTIQ+ communities.
Monitoring the current status of women and girls keeps the government accountable and helps other CSOs.
Advocating and lobbying for better laws to protect the rights of women, girls, and marginalized people nationwide.
Organizing and participating in public events because achieving equality requires changing attitudes of all members of society.
Providing training and technical assistance to our members to be able to fight for women and girls more efficiently.
